By the canal and shopping street, it does not get more central than this

Walking with an overnight bag through the streets of Alkmaar on your way to Boutiquehotel LUTTIK you will be amazed. From the cosy shopping street Fnidsen with various specialty shops you walk towards the canal and you will find the entrance situated on a corner opposite the idyllic bridge Luttik-Ouddorp.

The hotel exudes a welcoming, cosy but also hip atmosphere. The owners, Geert and Hester, have created a gem with their own vision, including 6 beautiful, light rooms, a concept store and a coffee bar. In the LUTTIK concept store, they don't just sell the products, home accessories and furniture you find in the hotel rooms and the coffee bar. They have supplemented the "LUTTIK hotel and coffee bar collection" with women's clothing, jewellery, bags and lifestyle products. All in the atmosphere and style of LUTTIK of course! So many natural materials, basic natural colours and products with preferably an environmental and/or socially responsible background.

While we are enjoying our coffee, we notice that the coffee bar with Geert as barista also attracts locals for a nice chat and of course the delicious coffee to go.

Fun fact, everything in the hotel is for sale! So if the lamp that suits your home is hanging there, it is for sale, how nice is that!

The original, somewhat steep wooden stairs lead to the hotel rooms. All are beautiful with wooden floors and light furniture, and all are decorated slightly differently. Light, atmospheric and spacious with lovely beds. From the windows you have a beautiful view of the canal and the city centre of Alkmaar. A TV is not present in the room, this is a deliberate choice and from our own experience we can say that you will not miss it for a second.

LUTTIK is located in the centre of Alkmaar, so everything is within reach. Think of the cheese market, Hollands Kaasmuseum, Beatles museum, a city walk, cycle tour in and around Alkmaar, rent a boat and don't forget: within no time you are on the beach.
