South Limburg, Villa Verde in Bunde is where we find two holiday homes on the outskirts of Maastricht. As soon as we arrive, we immediately notice how fine the sunlight falls on the yard. Here you can enjoy the peace and nature of the Bunderbos, while still being very close to Maastricht. The place to enjoy with your family, your partner, your cycling friends or anyone else. With a group? Then rent the two cottages together and you will have the entire site to yourself.

There is plenty of room to outdoor living and cooking. A Big Green Egg and a wood-fired pizza oven are available on request. They are also happy to light the hot tub for you. In addition to your own private terrace at the holiday home, there is a communal playing field/meadow with a large football goal and a hammock, among other things. The chickens on the property provide delicious fresh eggs and there are also 2 cats walking around.

Green (Verde) is the central theme here, and together with Danielle, Michael runs Villa Verde with his very own philosophy. When building the two holiday homes (1×4 and 1×6 persons) they simply asked themselves the question, would we want to live there ourselves? That is how they built and furnished it. Think, for example, of dream beds made of organic cotton, a kitchen that really is equipped with all the comforts and where the finest cookery books are waiting for you. The houses are built and furnished sustainably, and are, for example, cooled and heated via water pump energy. And of course: who wouldn't want to wake up with the most delicious croissants and chocolate rolls from their own oven?

Villa Verde is a perfect starting point for walking and cycling in the South Limburg landscape, the beautiful Bunderbos is only 300 metres away. If you want to go to Maastricht for a day, take the train (200 metres walk) and within 5 minutes you are in the heart of Maastricht or take the cycle route (9 km) via the new 'Groene Loper' (route over the 'old' A2).
